wow video performance warcraft

Problem removing a video game?
Awhile ago, I downloaded the MMORPG Rappelz. Immediately upon running my computer started getting overworked. (which was odd, seeing as I could easily run world of warcraft and other games).
I “uninstalled” the game, but its still somewhere. How do I know? Well a month or so ago, I was logging into WoW and my norton popped up, asking if I wanted to let Rappelz connect to the internet.
Even before then I noticed almost any game my computer tried playing after Rappelz leads to a similar result of it working loudly/fan louder.
Im positive this is a direct relationship between my computers now-poor performance and this game.
Any suggestions?
(Ive run virus scans, and looked for any parts of the game left, but no luck)
I suggest doing a check manually in your program files and user files. open every folder and see if it has the name of the game you want to remove.
I actually did that lastnight. There were several trial games I uninstalled on my comp that still had folders with their stuff in it. It takes a while, but you should find it eventually. (for instance a few of the games I deleted were from oberon games, when I searched that instead of the game name I found some to delete)
Or if you havent already find the name of the creator and search folders for that. You might also try searching in hidden folders. You have to click that option yourself when searching.
Good Luck!
