World of Warcraft freezing on my iMac?

ever since the sunwell patch i have been having extreme screen tearing and my whole computer locking up whenever i play wow. i’ve disabled shaders and lowered the graphics but it doesnt completely solve it and it still freezes all the time. If anyone else had these issues and found a way to fix can you please share??

Have you checked to make sure that your system meets the minimum standards to support the game?

I had a problem when the 2.0 patch came out just before the “Burning Crusades”. While my systems was, technically, able to play the game before the patch, the fact was that my graphics card was not supported and needed to be upgraded.

You may be running with some unsupported hardware and it may have finally caught up to you.
