World of Warcraft: Wrath of the Lich King is there any reliable info available on it?

When will it be released? Is there an open beta for it? Will it be worth the money? How can it possibly trump the content from the Burning Crusade?

As far as I know, they did not release a date, but said sometime in Summer of 08 at Blizzcon… but then again when BC was coming out, they pused it back like 4 months, so you never know.

I do know that there are some AMAZING videos on youtube, as people are actively playing in the test realms.

As to it trumping BC, many people (including myself) think it won’t. It’s going to be fun, sure, but SO many ppl I know miss the lvl cap being at 60, and miss all the old raids that used to be “end-game.”

However, some plus points are:
Death-Knights <=== /drool
Northrend<=== for those of us who played the previous warcraft games, and followed the lore /drool again

Lvl cap increased to 80 only makes me excited because of the chance to see what 10 talent points I can add to my characters.
