How do I change my world of warcraft account name?

My friend has been getting hacked alot and we think it might have to do with his account name….he tried 3 different passwords on 3 different computers and changed his email pass 3 times on each of those computers….we really dont know whats going on…..He doesn’y have keyloggers….so….I dunno.

Get a Mac. I would be shocked if any hackers put in the effort to make a keylogger or virus for Mac OS X. If anyone knows of one, I’d like to hear about it.

Another thing to do is to run with no AddOns (except the ones that start with Blizzard_). You may have a hacked AddOn that key logs every time you run WoW.

Also, make double-secret-sure that when he logs in on the web to change his password that he does it on a different computer than his own. If he has a keylogger, it can’t follow him to another computer.

Make sure he uses a password with mixed case, numbers, and possibly punctuation marks (!@#$, etc.). Also don’t use any real words as parts of the password. If he keeps using an easy to hack password, he can change it a million times and it won’t matter.

Since you don’t really say what you’ve done to make sure he doesn’t have a keylogger, just your statement that he doesn’t have one isn’t really reliable.
