I bet that most rich people would not have been rich today, if they have done what most people do.

They wait for the perfect, million dollar idea to get them started.

Chances are, then, that you will never be able to quit your day job; or to break free of debt, or whatever your goal would be, by making some money online.

Don’t wait for the perfect idea.  Just find one and go with it.  Just do it, and stick with it!

Where Do You Find a Money Making Idea?

Great ideas are everywhere.  You just have to learn to recognize them, when they bite you on the nose.

Let’s take an example.

Many people are playing the popular online game of ‘World of Warcraft’.  They spend time and money doing so, because not only do you have to buy a license to use the software for the game, but also have to pay the monthly fees to gain access to Blizzard’s servers.

So they play the game; become outstanding at it – and then that’s it.

Such a pity!

Every time you find yourself enjoying something, and possessing at least a little more knowledge about that subject than a complete newbie, you have a niche in which you can make money.

How Do I Make Money With My Knowledge?

If we continue with the World of Warcraft example, just do a search online.  There are a spacious variety of products directly related to this game.  You can buy books and e-books about it; you can also buy special loot cards, either to play with or to gain you some in-game virtual pets or mounts.  And there are many other gadgets that  people will buy, if they become hooked on this hobby.

Find out if some of the vendors offer an affiliate program.  Many do.  Then you just have to create a blog about your hobby, and ad affiliate codes to it; perhaps banner ads, AdSense etc.

You can make a blog for free at Blogger, or you can buy a domain name and put a WordPress blog on it.  The latter gives you more freedom in the long run.

But your niche doesn’t have to be a set game.  It could be anything from dishwashing to cooking; household chores; barbecuing; fishing and so on.

Stick with It

Success rarely comes overnight.

I had to work for four years on one of my sites before it started paying my rent and expenses each month.  In the beginning, I didn’t make any money at all from that site.  Then slowly the wheels of the train started to turn – and now it’s a high-speed train.

Now, it’s your turn. Find an idea, and stick to it. Get your train going.
