server status warcraft world

How do I host my own Private World of Warcraft server and have people connect to it?
Hi, i have previously set up a private server, but of which i know, i am the only one who can connect to it… it IP is 127.0.0.1 (default) and i want to know if i have to change this possibly? Also, are you able to host off of a PC? Or do i need to buy a server? Basically, i want to host a server, have my friend connect, and be able to give so and so GM status and such. Can anyone help me.
you need to go into your router this info should be in the manuale and set the server pc’s private ip to the DMZ zone then you can use www.no-ip.com and get their small program and set your server up on their site once this is done you use a site such as wowstatus.com to post your server and give everyone the server addy and the account setup page I hope this work’s for you it did for me when I ran my server and will again when I get a new server setup. Incase you dont know to get your server’s private ip on that comp use command window type ipconfig you will see something like this
ip address: 192.168.1.100
subnet mask: 255.255.255.0
Default Gateway: 192.168.0.1
the ip address is that pc’s private ip
Diablo 3 app for Android checks server status (feeds.joystiq)
Those dying to play _Diablo 3_ online don't need to sit by their PCs to see if the servers are up and running anymore. A _Diablo 3_ server-checking app, aptly named "Diablo 3 Server Checker," is now available for free (ad- supported) on Google Play for Android devices. Developed by Eluamous, creator of other server-checking apps for games like _World of Warcraft_, the app pulls status messages from US.Battle.net to view updates from _Diablo 3_ servers in the US, Europe, and Asia. The app also includes a widget for use on the home screen of Android devices. The app is in obvious response to the recent server issues Blizzard has been dealing with.
