World of warcraft full game?

im going to buy world of war craft, and ive bought wrath of the lich king, but i have been told that you need the first one to play the second one is this true and how much do you have to pay monthly after your first 1month free?

You must have the base game, which is just called World of Warcraft. Wrath of the Lich King and Burning Crusade are the expansion packs (and you’ll need BC if you’re going to install WotLK, sorry to say) and the base game is required.

You pay about $15/month, or $0.50 a day.
