What’s a raid group in World of Warcraft?
I was at this place in Arthi Highlands in World of Warcraft, and I saw this portal-thing and I talked to this guy and something happened and I saw this thing with some other people and I didn’t know what to do and I got scared so I left. It said “You are now in a raid group”. What is that, where was I, what do I do there, etc.?

Hi there. You probably joined a raid group to do a battleground (bg) which (the one that you went to) is called Arathi Basin that is located in Arathi Highlands. If you don’t know, battlegrounds are for PvP. You basically join a group and fight against the opposite faction (horde/alliance) for territory, etc. So the group you were put in was just that. It’s like a regular group/party, just larger. Raid groups consist of 6-40 people and are used to do bgs and raids. Hope that helped. =)
