play original warcraft online

Is ¨Guild Wars¨worth buying just for the single player game?

I´ve been starving for a good PC RPG for a while, and it seems that the original Guild Wars is pretty cool, but I´m not really into the online play for various reasons. Is it worth buying just for the single player campaign?
Also, if you can suggest a good RPG that´s not from the “Elder Scrolls´´ series (Already played them all), Gothic, Knights of the old republic, or World of warcraft, I would mostly apreciate it.

Well, Guild Wars is not a single player game. It’s an online MMO. You can play it by yourself using just computer characters in your parties for quests and missions, but you’re missing out on the essence of the game.

Don’t buy it and think that you can avoid all interaction with others. You will encounter many other players ingame in the towns and outposts and you’ll also find that some elite areas are impossible without other human players.
