latest warcraft pc games

World of Warcraft quistion?

alright for your information i dont have World of Warcraft i dont even know anything about the game but i will buy it, im confused last time i visited a shop i went to the pc games section i took a look at World of Warcraft i dont understand there are two of them one with somekind of a blue background and another one i searched on the web and found out that the blue one is the latest
which one do i buy
and for steam users when i buy the game can i add it to steam with the “activate a product on steam” i like all my games in one place

There are actually 2 different games you’ll have to buy. One is the original World of Warcraft – it comes in a brown box with a Night Elf on the front, kind of a bluish background, yeah. The other is the expansion, The Burning Crusade – it’s also in a mostly brown box, but with a Blood Elf on the cover. I think it has a greenish background on it.

The one you’re talking about with the blue is probably Wrath of the Lich King, the expansion set for later this year. It’s available for pre-sale/pre-orders, but won’t be out until about November 2008.
