holy paladin warcraft
Just a World of Warcraft Paladin question

Ok, so i started playing WoW about..2 months ago. i’m about to hit level 70, and have been scared like crazy because..well I play a Retribution Paladin, which apparently NO ONE wants in there raid group. (inadequate DPS, w/e.) so anyways. im kind of fretting about whether or not to switch to the Holy Spec. Sure healing is super boring, but if i even want to remotely try and raid, i feel i would have to switch to Holy. Would you do that? or is the PVP epic gear just as decent as the Raid Boss gear? I mean, If push comes to shove, i could just always make an alt to raid with. Also, would it help if i just got back up healing gear but still kept my same Spec?

im not a paladin, so i cant tell you exactly what kind of specs for wat purpose. but from my exp in wow, if you wan to raid and get epics from bosses, its best that you compromise with your raid grp. its abt team work, not solo. many fury pvp warriors (like my alt) too respec to prot cuz they need to tank, many shadow priest respec to holy priest (?) cuz they need to heal and many other more….
so its not just abt you and what you want. to join a raid grp means responsiblility for others as well, so i suggest you ask your raid leader what he wants. im sure he can tell you?
however if you pvp more than you raid, than i suggest you get ur pvp epics first or the other way round.

Paladins, Ashbringer is yours -- well, for a short duration, at least. The level 75 paladin talent Holy Avenger, which is a cooldown that allows the player to gain 3 holy power when using an ability that generates holy power, now turns the paladin's weapon into the mighty Ashbringer for the duration of the spell. Paladins have been asking for iconic imagery in their sets and weapons for some time, with many paladins feeling left out or in an odd place when tier sets are designed around aspects of paladins in the game rather than the Alliance paladins of the traditional days. Ashbringer is about as traditionally paladin as you get. Paladins, congratulations on your badass graphics for Holy Avenger, especially with something so iconic as Ashbringer being part of your kit, so to speak. How cool is that? Blizzard has already given shaman the ability to transform into powerful ascendants, and now we see this cool new flavor for the paladin and brand new demons for the warlock.
