How the hell do you use coordinates in World of Warcraft?

I downloaded a coordinates addon and it shows me what the coordinates are of where I am at but i don’t know how the hell that will help me get to other coordinates

Well to be honest you have to have a general idea of where the location of what your looking for is if you are not a great math student, but what it is where the coordinates are shown on your map it is listed as (100,20) or something this would mean (x,y) so as you go up or down its like going up and down on y-axis and left to right would be as such on x-axis. Up on Y is positive and down is negative. Right on X is positive and left negative.
